| Comments: Another of life’s little tragedies, although on the ’big’ scale. This apparently leads to the gateway of Aussie beer for many foreigners. I personally feel sorry for the many visitors to Oz, perplexed by doubt, and favouring swiftly towards a chilled drop of Foster’s banner Lager..pa..paaa... shite!!! Embarrassing. ’Businessman’ with fuck all brains is CUB. Stale grassy and harsh ’rasp’ hop nose. Brilliant pale straw body, with a soapy white head. Head affects the ’mouth’ with a soapy slick diacetyl palate, Palmolive I think, medium-light carbonation, and a plastic (Plasticine) mid-palate and swallow. Absolutely woeful!!!!

| Comments: Firstly let me say, I have had worse. I, on the behalf of the Fosters marketing director, wish to apologise to all Australians, for the claim of this being "Australian for beer." I can actually think of many things that Foster's Lager is Australian for, but beer is not featured highly amoungst the contenders. A palid, straw-coloured, chemically-flavoured disaster is all that I experienced. This incipid brew had all the realism of a 1960's Barbie doll. The overall result of this "lager," is a beer very reminicent of a bubble-bath. Actually, I think I know what I would drink in preference. There is one good point though. At least it isn't Budweiser. |

| Comments: This beer really is proof that you can out anything in a can/bottle/ tap call it \"Aussie\" and some poor folk will actually believe its a national icon. Avoid this so called beer as it is sure to disappoint even the youngest of beer drinkers. And those who sit in front of the TV all day! |

| Comments: Ahh The Aussie Beer that no Australian drinks... Its strange how its so damn popular overseas, yet you never see it anywhere here, its not on any tap in any pub. It used to be on tap at one of my favoutie nightclubs, but they replaced it with strongbow because no one drank fosters. To be fair, its not that bad of a beer. I'd prefer to drink it rather than something Like VB, Carlton Mid or Melbourne Bitter. Plus, they do support my idol, Mark Webber. So when he wins his first race, i'll be drinking fosters to celebrate, but thats prolly it. next day i'll be back on the euro beer/ xxxx. |
