| Comments: Love these boy's beers, their Goat Army nights are awesome. Seems I must have gotten a better example than the other reviewers. Mind you, I've always enjoyed this brew.
The Pale ale poured a pale golden straw colour into my glass, a creamy white head, that hung around for a while, soapy and foamy.
Aromas of Hallertau (as it says on the bottle), grainy malt, slightly minerally, apples, and soft yeast, slightly bready. Yummo.
A clean crisp beer, possibly not all that "English" as would be expected, but clean and crisp, almost lagery in style. Quenching and awesome. A lingering malt and hop character that is obviously Noble, and screams at me for another.
Nice work! |

| Comments: Tasted from the bottle into a stem glass, mine was darker than the ratings below, making me a little worried as I don’t know the age of the sample. Poured a hazy honey-gold with a short creamy white head that dissipated back a little and left legs down the glass. Buttery, toffee and honey nose with a hint of sour leafy hops and light fruity esters. Flavours of tangerines and oranges in the mouth, quite fresh and fruity with a light toasted malt and bready yeast feel coming through. Light in carbonation and body, yet quite filling in the stomach. A little too subtle in flavour, but still quite a balanced sweet and fruity beer with a lightly zesty bitter backdrop right before the swallow. Quite refreshing.

| Comments: this is what a proper beer looks and tastes like. Reassuringly cloudy, with a zingy hoppy taste that lingers, I could drink this anytime |

| Comments: I had two bottles of this recently. One I had stored on its side in the bottle chiller in my fridge, and it was while I was drinking this one that I read on the bottle that its best to stow them upright. No worries though, the first one had a subtle hop aroma, tasted mildly sweet that went down smooth with a nice, hoppy aftertaste. The 2nd (upright stowed) bottle I poured into a cool stem glass, and it made a nice head of about 3 cm. The aroma was the same, but the taste was less hoppy that the one I had earlier. Either way it was very drinkable! When I get another bottle, I'm going to try the 'Cooper's Top' before pouring it. |
