About Rooftop
Rooftop takes its influences from Vienna-style lagers, an elegant beer style with a subtle malt-hop balance, created in Vienna during the early 1840’s by pioneers of bottom fermentation.
It was the Vienna-style lager that inspired the Marzen beers which are traditionally drunk during Oktoberfest – a festival which began as a wedding celebration in 1810 when Princess Therese was married to the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig.
