About James Squire Colonial Wheat Beer
James Squire Colonial Wheat Beer is a handcrafted tribute to Squire's refreshing brew. This cloudy beer is brewed in antique copper kettles from a blend of fresh wheat, malted wheat and pale malted barley.
In the tradition of Hefeweizen, its subtle notes of tropical fruit and spicy clove are created by imported wheat beer yeast, rather than by adding spices in the style of Belgian wit beers. The delicate floral character of fresh Hersbrucker hops complements the mild flavours from the grains and yeast.
